The first bark! 🐾

So, here we go I guess. For a while now I've been toying with the idea to start blogging again. I've done so several times in the past and always enjoyed the process of writing something. Somehow, I tend to be quite wordy when writing stuff; a birthday card to a beloved friend isn't simply "Happy Birthday John!" but rather a short novel, outlining the highlights of this past year of our friendship, the things I hope we do in the coming year and a short summary of big achievements... ooh and of course a celebratory message for their birthday (sorry for the long read John¹).

I wanted to set up this blog for several weeks now, but was holding myself back because it needed to be "perfect". Which is funny, because one of the things I always tell other people is "don't let perfect stand in the way of 'good enough'". So that's why I just decided to open a new draft and start typing. From experience I know that the words will usually flow once I get going.

Now you might be wondering, what is this blog all about? Well, I wanted a simple place where I can jot down musings, relive and share memories from events I've been to, talk about kinks and educate on several topics, share mental health stuff... basically anything that keeps this puppy² busy. Sometimes it might be a short brain dump, other times, I might share about an experience at a new event I've been to in much detail.

The lay-out and such might still change and I need to figure out what I want to do with images. Again, I wanted this to be perfect, but if I was waiting for that moment, we wouldn't have a blog by the year 2030 I fear.

So take off your leash, follow the scent trail and let's embark (sorry, too easy) on this journey together. I'm actually really excited to start blogging again, as sometimes I feel I have a lot of things to say, but not really a good platform to say them. Well now I do! I don't plan to have a schedule or anything. Sometimes I might post a lot in quick succession, sometimes there could be weeks in between.

And for those of you who found this blog outside my own profiles, let me do a quick introduction. I have several bios, so let's try to combine them to touch on the most important stuff:
